Other Ministries
There are a variety of ways to deepen relationships with God and each other at SBIC:
Prayer Ministry
Each Wednesday at 1:00pm, a group gathers for prayer in the pastor's office and by zoom. We also offer prayer ministry during Sunday morning worship. Trained pairs of "prayer ushers" are available to listen to your need and bring your burden into God's Presence, trusting Him to meet you right where you are, at your point of need. The prayer usher ministry is confidential.
Weeknight Evenings
Throughout the week, our building is busy with English classes, a second Spanish worship service, youth group and worship team practice.
Children & Youth Ministries
We have gifted and passionate staff and volunteers who invest in the next generation of church leaders - through Sunday school, Kids Time, Youth Group and childcare offered during English classes.
Small Groups
There are a number of small groups that meet at different times and places throughout each month, to share their lives, pray for each other and apply scripture to daily life.
Sunday Serve
A few times each year, we take a Sunday away from our regular gathering to serve the community. We might pack meal kits for local food pantries, pack backpacks for students for the upcoming school year, or complete projects at a local service agency.
